The world always wants more from us. We are pressured into performance and pushed to go beyond what we believe to b sufficient. Truly, focus and drive will allow us to accomplish great things. Yet let us focus on what is best for us and avoid the stress and damage that can be done from forcing more upon ourselves than we can handle.
We don’t always know what we want or need. As a result, we often believe that the more we collect, the better. However this simply is not true. The more that we collect or own instead typically leads to frustration and angst. Let us not collect more than we need but live with appreciation for what we already have.
When our time and energy always seems to be taken up by activities we aren’t completely fond of or necessary daily tasks that simply don’t agree with our goals, it can become frustrating as we feel like there simply is no hope for change. Yet through God and unrelentless passion, truly we will find ourselves more than capable of the change we seek. We simply have to work towards it.
